About DJ Hek

Since launching his career in 1985 on local radio in his hometown of Cayey, Puerto Rico, DJ Hek has spent over four decades perfecting the art of open-format DJing and live entertainment. After mastering fundamental mixing and audio techniques on air and performing across local venues, he relocated to Massachusetts in 1996, quickly becoming a fixture in the New England music scene.

Over the years, DJ Hek has earned widespread support, performing at major regional events—including multiple appearances at the Puerto Rican Festival of Massachusetts at Boston City Hall Plaza, as well as high-profile showcases in Rhode Island. His radio broadcasting experience spans stations across Puerto Rico and New England, including Radio La Ley (Cayey), Power 800, and La Mega New England.

A versatile performer, DJ Hek has rocked audiences at dozens of premier venues and nightclubs, including:

• Boston & Greater Mass: House of Blues Boston, The Wild Rover, White Horse Tavern, Smoke House Tavern, All Star Lounge, Lynnway Lounge, The Crown, Savannas Place, and El Rincon.

• Regional & Nightlife Spots: Moonshiners, TNS, Don Q, Celebrations, Xavier Place, The Loft, Paradise Nightclub, Ward 6, Cloud 9, Manchvegas, and Eclipse.

In 2022, DJ Hek joined the Siagel Productions roster as one of their primary rotation DJs for high-energy private and corporate events. A long-time member of The Klick DJs (formerly The Punisher Klick DJs), he continues to expand his reach into the digital era, broadcasting live sets and stream showcases across TikTok, Facebook, Mixcloud, and YouTube.
